DMF-T Straight-through Pulse Valve

Inclined angle between air inlet and outlet is 180° (the center line of the air inlet and outlet on the same straight line). The air inlet connecting with cylinder while the air outlet connecting with the blowpipe. With smooth air flow, it can provide an efficient dust-cleaning.

Product Description

The DMF-T straight-through pulse valve is a type of solenoid-operated valve widely used in industrial dust collection and pneumatic pulse-jet cleaning systems, especially in baghouse dust collectors.

1. Basic Definition

DMF-T straight-through electromagnetic pulse valve (also called straight-through diaphragm pulse valve) is a core pneumatic valve matched with pulse bag dust collectors. Its most distinctive structural feature is the 180° collinear inlet and outlet (the central axes of air inlet and outlet form a straight line), which distinguishes it from right-angle (DMF-Z) and submerged (DMF-Y) pulse valves.

2. Working Principle

When the solenoid coil is energized:

  • The electromagnetic force lifts the valve core directly.
  • Compressed air is released instantly from the air reservoir.
  • The diaphragm opens quickly, generating a high-intensity pulse of air.

When the power is cut off:

  • The spring force and air pressure reset the diaphragm.
  • The valve closes immediately, stopping airflow.

This rapid on/off action produces a strong, short burst of air.

3. Structural Features

A typical DMF-T pulse valve includes:

  • Solenoid coil (electromagnetic actuator)
  • Valve body (usually aluminum alloy)
  • Diaphragm assembly (wear-resistant rubber material)
  • Spring mechanism
  • Inlet and outlet ports (often 90° or straight-through depending on model)

4. Key Advantages

  • Fast response time (millisecond-level switching)
  • High pulse strength for effective dust removal
  • Simple structure with reliable operation
  • Low air consumption compared to continuous blowing systems
  • Easy maintenance and long service life

5. Applications

DMF-T valves are mainly used in:

  • Baghouse dust collectors (industrial filtration systems)
  • Cement plants
  • Steel and metallurgy industries
  • Power plants
  • Chemical processing facilities
  • Mining and material handling systems

6. Function in Dust Collection Systems

In a pulse-jet dust collector, DMF-T valves periodically release compressed air into filter bags. This “pulse” knocks dust off the filter surface, keeping the system efficient and preventing clogging.
