The DMF-Y series is a submerged (also called embedded) pilot-operated electromagnetic pulse valve, specifically engineered as the core compressed air switching component for the pulse-jet cleaning system of baghouse dust collectors. Unlike angle-type pulse valves, it is directly mounted onto the air header (air tank), with its inlet submerged inside the header. This design delivers excellent flow characteristics, minimal pressure loss, and reliable cleaning performance even under low air-supply pressure conditions, making it ideal for heavy-duty industrial dust removal scenarios.
Structure & Working Principle
- Key Components: Cast aluminum alloy valve body, high-performance diaphragm assembly (NBR or VITON optional), electromagnetic pilot head, return spring, and throttling/damping orifices.
- Operation Process:
- Normal Closed State: Compressed air enters the rear air chamber via the throttle orifice, pressing the diaphragm tightly against the outlet to seal it.
- Activation: When an electrical signal from the pulse controller is received, the pilot solenoid opens the vent hole of the rear air chamber. The pressure in the rear air chamber drops rapidly, and the diaphragm lifts under the front pressure, releasing a powerful pulse of compressed air to clean the filter bags.
- Reset: After the electrical signal ceases, the pilot valve closes the vent hole. The rear air chamber repressurizes, and the diaphragm reseats to the closed position.
