What Does the ASCO C113928 Repair Kit Do?
The diaphragm is a key working component of a pulse valve. During operation, the valve rapidly releases compressed air to clean dust from filter bags or cartridges. If the diaphragm becomes cracked, hardened, deformed, or worn, the pulse valve may experience air leakage, weak cleaning pulses, or unreliable operation.
Replacing the diaphragm with a C113928 repair kit can be a more practical maintenance solution than replacing the complete pulse valve. The kit is specifically associated with the 3-inch SCEX353.060 valve.
Why Use an ASCO C113928 Repair Kit?
Regular diaphragm replacement can help:
- Restore proper pulse-jet air flow.
- Reduce compressed-air leakage.
- Maintain effective filter cleaning.
- Extend the service life of the pulse valve.
- Reduce maintenance costs compared with replacing the complete valve.
For dust collector applications, selecting the correct repair kit is important because diaphragm dimensions and valve compatibility vary between ASCO pulse valve models.
Conclusion
In short, ASCO C113928 is a 3-inch diaphragm repair kit for the ASCO SCEX353.060 pulse valve. It is primarily used for maintenance and diaphragm replacement in pulse-jet dust collection systems. Available material options include NBR/Buna and Viton/FKM, depending on the application and operating temperature.
